Adar Gandelsman, Hebrew: Adr gndlsmn was born on 5/12/97. She is an Israeli model and beauty contest winner. She was Miss Israel 2017's second place winner and was awarded the title Miss Universe Israel. Adar was a competitor at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. She did not get a spot. Gandelsman snapped photos with Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan at the pageant. In December 2017 Idan as well as her family left Iraq in protest at the Iraqi citizens over her posing for a photo with Miss Israel who had also been a member of the Israel Defense Forces at the time.
